Yangtze River Number Two.

The world's most expensive dog. Only $582,000. Really, why aren't the very best dogs more expensive?
[A] motorcade of 30 cars escorted the dog from the airport in Xi'an to his new home. A crowd also gathered to celebrate its new resident.
Now, a motorcade... that impresses me.

They had better keep Michael Vick out of China.

"Earlier this year, a family in Florida paid $155,000 for a Labrador named Lancelot Encore. The price included what it cost to clone the dog from the original Lancelot."

Labs are good dogs. I'm not a dog person at all, but if I were to get a dog it would probably be a lab.

A Tibetan mastiff? I’m assuming the price includes a matched set of sold gold drool cups.

NW China has not seen the development that the coast has. Know new rich in other words. I'm surprised that somebody up there could pay that price.

I didn't think China had "old money" :)

Chinese Rich list.

Goes to show rich crazy people don't all live in the US.

Besides, bet she could have got him $449,999.

Hope she uses some of her wealth to make life easier for many other animals.

Multitudes of Chinese millionaires make the trek to California to buy cheap foreclosed properties. I've seen them coming around in their buses and vans clickety-clicking thier pictures as they gobble up US real-estate. This same horseshit that the Japanese did in gobbling up Hawaiian and west coast real-estate. Especially in Los Angeles.
