Hey, whatever happened to AlphaLib? He get banned on that thread awhile back or just his comment deleted?

Or did he just have more yardwork?

There are two ways to connect to Eternity by blogging:

Number one is by presenting astute observation.

Number two is to influence the audience.

Especially talented bloggers can make the first look like the second, or vice-versa.

The dreaded poison of blogging is narcissism. All that matters about the blogger's self is contained in observation and influence; anything additional is superfluous and indulgent, and obstructs the connection with Eternity.

And one searches the characters for meaning but there is none. None except, "here remains the remnant adhesive that once held up two plaques."

I call shenanigans on this textured wall.

GMay likes the gossip.

Dead Julius has the traits of a business man, except for his personal distaste for the "individual".

Chip is too busy cooking and eating...when he isn't folding intricate paper POP UP's!

Fred has heart.

Revenant has an appropriate sense of distrust and inquiry.

It's all extremely interesting, unless you REALLY need a good drywall man.

Then you are PLUMB out of luck!

It seems the linguists will have their way for now, ... and I am nothing, if not practical...

Maybe they got nailed by the same virus that shut me down for 10 days.

Had to format my C: drive and re-install.

The Republican "establishment" seems determined to give the Alaska and Delaware seats back to the Democrats rather than tolerate insubordination.

Well, they are known as "the stupid party," and it is a well-earned reputation, so I guess this should have been expected.

The one in the lower right box looks a lot like your beloved Bucky The Badger.

Looks like the remains of a bonding agent that was applied to the back of some decorative tiles and stuck to the wall for a while.

Read carefully.....Ubuntu

Windows sux, and is very expensive.
Ubuntu and OpenOffice are free.

It is much harder to hide a virus in Linux.

I didn't know Jackson Pollock and Pablo Picasso did construction work.
