"Wisconsin forward Nigel Hayes was having some fun with the stenographers at a press conference in L.A. on Wednesday, trying to test their skills with a complicated word: “syzygy.”

You have me convinced.

Always fun when the Whiner Williams loses.

Not as nerve wracking as the president flying the ship of state into the side of a mountain

what a great game. Both sides deserved to win this one.

Congratulations to the Badgers beating a very strong UNC team.

And I'll bet the Badgers can even spell their own names right. Based on the academic scandal at UNC, that's not so clear for Tarheel players.

As a rabid NC State Wolfpack basketball nut, seeing Carolina lose was sweet.

Extremely nerve-wracking, but fun to watch too.

Wis 20 for 23 from the free throw line. That's how you win games. I've never understood why basketball players don't assure themselves that they can nail free throws. You're standing there with nobody in your face. Make the damn basket!

It's like people who go on Survivor and can't make fire. What were you thinking?

Loved the game, except for the stress!

The Badgers are awesome. They may be the Whiteist team in history, but they are Bad-ass. Dekker and Kaminski are quite a duo.

Everyone lining up to see who gets to lose to Kentucky.

The Wisconsin men's basketball team is guilty of appropriating collegiate basketball, inducing macro-aggression.

Not acceptable:down twinkles.

(jazz hands if you agree)

Browndog is one of few to understand names, such as Wisconsin, are speical pronouns.

Pronouns are ipso facto racist. Eo ipso, the thing is contained within itself.

And I love the Badgers and wept-like (got sad) last year against Kentucky.

I'll do no such thing again.

I'd rather have racked nerves than to watch a good game knowing my Jayhawks flamed out early.

I don't think Garage gets enough respect around here.

He gives fodder, which many seem to really like to drag-out.

Also, he once claimed "Minnesota is a garbage team" talking about the Vikings, and that is a more-accurate than I could, and have since made, declaration about that team.

Extrapolating, Wisconsin is a clean team.

I hope Bo does smoke and drink beer before games, with )(^**( Barry )*(^*%^ Alvarez and *^*%/

I just watched Kentucky dismantle WVa. Wow.

I let loose, not per Clint Black, although I think of his artistry a lot with envy, by letting you all who care, who read this, a small Venn but a decent overlapture nonetheless*, with reconsider your opinions and form pro-life beliefs.

In vain or whatever, it's really all about me either way.

Personally I don't feel that way about learned individuals reinforcing wisdom with eminent reason, because they do that while I embarrass myself more often than not.

Returning to vomit.

*Christ this is what MSNBC tells themselves or itself as you wish.

Duke appears to be the only team that can approach Kentucky. But Kentucky playing their best beats Duke handily.

Guildofcannonballs said...

So, even though I didn't, or even imply or intend to in any way, I just called Kentucky unclean.

Fuck that.

Kentucky is a clean program.

A clean team.

I don't think the Badgers will face them.

Guildofcannonballs said...

Whole bunch of scenarios where I don't have to (not)cry again.

No Badgers/Kentucky no tears.

No, don't you ever cry about sports, no don't you ever cry about sports.

No, ... don't cry.

I remember, when we used to say, in teh Government "you're entrenched now" blah blay blae

Bob Marley being a poseur, my unracism is right: Blacks aren't no damn mo 'cause they ain't never did "sittin in the yards of Trenchtown"; they be here yo.

"drag-out." is alone a reference to and a reference to alone at that, my gout.

My father gave me that and genius and my mom gave me life plus+.

The Catholicism was a gift I was most unprepared for but the longer, the more Ann Barnhardt won't be offputting.

Big Mike mocks the NC players. Says they can't spell. Then misspells "Tar Heels".

2 words, pal.

Guildofcannonballs said...

Part of the appeal of Buckley is his understanding, and mockery, of the fact that people vote irrationally in many cases, and there is not a damn thing he, as great as he was, or us, could (can)do about it.

The back of WFB's book The Unmaking of a Mayor about his NY Mayoral campaign is entirely a testament to this fact, and he points out time and time again in his columns the same lame Democrat slurs about the rich and taxes and Republicans hating children et. al. will never cease, and are sadly effective.

Especially in academia, for obvious reasons of (as Buckely called it in On The Firing Line) hubris, "all but unadulterated."

Guildofcannonballs said...

did I really do that?

What happened?

Where am I?

fbsakamoto said...

Never in doubt. Bo is awesome and that is the reason KY would just as soon see UW lose.
Comment on free throws is right on.

Sounds like we have a nascent basketball fan running this website.

Just saying said...

As an educator, can you explain to me how the basketball players attend class and study during this run to the hoped-for national championship. I thought they were supposed to be students.

MadisonMan said...

UW Tweeted a photo during the first round of all the students working on class stuff.

I've also seen tweeted pictures of Swim Team members (no UW's, elsewhere) studying while at Big 10s and at NCAAs.

SO they're not attending classes, of course, except when they're in Madison, but they're studying on the road.

Guildofcannonballs said...

The bookies would lose way too much were Kentucky to win.

Your ignorance helps you here; stay away from this knowledge.

Guildofcannonballs said...

The students of Wisconsin basketball have learned more important lessons about winning and not losing than classes could ever teach.

From from snarking teaching, this is all about the exemplariness displayed, sacrifices undertook, and passion wielded as a sword.

You people who don't understand are the ones who need classes of teachings, not the Badgers.

Guildofcannonballs said...

Startly, I most likely would hate UW without sports. Bunch of damn dirty libs don't ya know.

I once saw an interview with the Coen's where they had a script in the background, Quark Victory, and I thought "I can't compete with that."

Guildofcannonballs said...

Wait wait it's okay: Quark was a TV show in the 1970s starring Tim Thomerson, the audience telling themselves "if only TT had a twin turbo."
