If you were President and wanted the outcome in the Middle East (or wherever) to be what it now appears to be headed for, what if anything would you have done differently than what the Obama administration had done?

Ohio trout lilies are only found singly.

The lily glacier didn't get this far south.

The disaster of the 1938 Munich deal was that it only bought England peace until Hitler's forces were ready to split Poland with Stalin and fight off a British and French military, and that was not yet ready.

Obama's USA surrender to Iran is the same deal. It is only negotiated to delay a Jewish attack until Iran is ready to defeat the Jewish Defense Force.

The Congress knows that. The Jews know that. And Saudi Arabia and Egypt know that. And Putin knows that. Which is why they are oppposing Obama's faked peace deal that only exists to protect Iran until Iran is ready for war.

I doubt Obama wishes for war.
It is possible he thinks that if he can fix it so that the contending forces are roughly equal militarily in each corner of the world, everybody will figure the odds and decide not to risk it.

But, that is not how it has worked out in all the known history of the human race.

In Insty today, he references an article by Ross Douthat on the Trudeau lecture that the Professor posted about last week. The comments at the NYT are, sadly, all too predictable.

But, while we're on the topic of "punching" up or down, as the case may be, what shows up in my FB feed but this nasty, mean-sprited, and not even close to funny article by Andy Borowitz. AB has now decided to abandon comedy for the full time job of sucking the administration's cock.

Ya know, I'm so old now, I can remember a time when Jewish comedians were actually funny.

I found out after getting married, that if your wife asks you if you want to go for a walk in the park to enjoy the Spring weather, that this isn't really a question with a yes or no answer.

As I rose excitedly, holding her hand, we locked the door behind us, and Skippy ran ahead barking at the birds...
