The September GOP debate might not include Carly Fiorina.

It's another top-10 debate and...
The CNN debate methodology, released earlier this year, weighs polls from July 16 to Sept. 10....

The network also has other qualifications it is considering, including a candidate having paid staff in two of the four early-voting states.

Based on calculations for the 11 qualifying polls that have been conducted since July 16 — two of which were conducted since the Fox News debate — the main debate stage would look the same as it did earlier this month.

As with the Fox News debate, Govs. John Kasich (Ohio) and Chris Christie (N.J.) are tied for the last two spots, with 3.3 percent.

At 1.6 percent, Fiorina would need to average 5 percent, her best performance to date, for 11 straight polls to rise above the two governors, as long as their percentages did not rise as well.

We are not being served well by this.

Why does Fox hate women?

She should try her tight jeans with a cute wiggle trick That should get her picked in place of Christie.

That would be a crime.

I still hope that the eventual nominees for both parties will be people not yet heard from.

Are they going to offer the early debate for the second tier? Because if so it doesn't matter much--all will be covered on YouTube and any good performances will go viral.

They really should be mixing up the debates a bit, so we can see different combos.

I don't understand why the Republicans are having anything to do with CNN. Do they think pissed off captive airport viewers will come to support them?

I don't understand why the Republicans are having anything to do with CNN.

Because at the RNC's request, CNN teamed up with Salem Communications so that conservatives would have at least a few intelligent questions asked. For the next debate we get Hugh Hewitt to represent us on the panel.

I still hold out hope that Trump, Carson and Huckabee will either get “accidentally” locked in their dressing rooms or show up at the wrong address and Governor Jindal and Carly Fiorina will get to participate instead.

Fox and CNN are going to feel some embarrassment about excluding her from the debates when they're covering President Fiorina's inauguration.

This "debate" stuff is Cray-Cray! Top 10, 15, 6; whatever. These are NOT debates. They are joint press conferences. How about rolling the dice and matching two of them (max; four) at a time in actual debates. Lock 'em in studios and ask them all the same questions about positions and policies for 30 minutes. Hell, round it up to a total of 20 and have the 'news' talkies participate, too. Be interesting to know where they're coming from. I'm no fan of The Donald but he did get bitch-slapped by Ms Kelley. If people like Fiorina and Jindal are not being heard from, this 'debate' process is a farce.
