A local farmer planted sunflowers the last year before he sold his farm. It was entertaining to see the flowers turn to face the sun.

I don't know if the plan made him money or not. Perhaps he just thought it would be fun once.

This New York Times article is interesting because It is very Jew-specific, naming and identifying prominent Jews in our government.

Mr. Schumer's voice is powerful, and his politics are wily...

That's in paragraph five. Mr. Schumer is a powerful, wily Jew. We all ought to be careful of the powerful, wily Jew. I cannot believe this is in the NYT.

In paragraph seven...

two other prominent Jewish Democrats.

In paragraph nine...

resistance to the accord among Democrats is concentrated in two heavily Jewish regions...

You also might note that resistance to the accord among Republicans is concentrated in heavily Christian regions. Unless you want to focus on the powerful, wily Jew for some reason. I wipe my ass with your newspaper!

Also opposed is Representative Ted Deutch, whose South Florida district abuts Palm Beach and Boca Raton.

Jews! More Jews!

An earlier version of this article misstated the stance of Representative Steve Cohen, Democrat of Tennessee

Jews in Tennessee!

And the #1 comment at the NYT...

I know the good Senator Schumer has struggled with his decision and is voting his conscience. However, he needs - and we need - to think deep and hard about whether his conscience is guiding him towards what he thinks is in Israel's best interest or in America's best interest.

And I want to thanks Jonathan Weisman and Jennifer Steinhauer for their tireless reporting on the Jewish problem. Thanks, guys! Very helpful.

If he were to successfully lead opposition to the plan, I'd give him all the credit he likes. If.

Bernie Sanders is a communist. If he isn't progressive enough for these people, no one is. As for black lives matter, most do and some don't. Michael Brown the drugged up criminal and would be cop killer isn't one of the ones that matter.

Sanders obviously not ready for the Sister Souljah moment.

Saint Croix great comment. How much time before the NYT finally transforms itself from Pravda and into Der Stürmer?

What I find interesting is that the Hottest Fire on the Left and the Right -- Sanders and Trump -- have both spoken against unlimited immigration.

(Trump: obvious. Sanders: "“I frankly do not believe that we should be bringing in significant numbers of unskilled to workers to compete with [unemployed] kids,” Sanders said. “I want to see these kids get jobs.”)

We know where Obama stands, by Executive Order. We see how the Press handles it in response.

Yet the two top diametrically opposing figures overlap in agreement against the current flow?

Would be an interesting article to juxtapose the situation.

Or maybe the Media has done so already and I missed it due to Miley Cyrus' naked (Documented American) breasts.

Miley Cyrus is the Modern American Brigitte Bardot.

I am judging by breasts and predicted shapeliness in the future thereof.

Although I think the comparison shares more in the Venn Diagram.

I suspect the populist left and the populist right have somewhat overlapping agendas. It's in the interests of the aristocracy to keep them riled up against each other.

Althouse -- as far as I can tell -- doesn't even have a 'Miley Cyrus' tag.

C'mon: there is only so long I can masturbate to 'insect politics'.

Hilarious!!

Bernie Sanders was speaking at Westlake Mall here in Seattle, and he was shutdown by the local #BlackLiesMuttered group. The #BlackLiesMuttered group managed to call all of the 1000 people assembled racist. They were racist because they didn't want to hear the BlackLiesMuttered.

Who knew???

Some nice quotes from CNN:

"My name is Marissa Janae Johnson, co-founder of Black Lives Matter Seattle," she said to sustained boos for an audience that had waited an hour and a half to hear Sanders. "I was going to tell Bernie how racist this city is, filled with its progressives, but you already did it for me, thank you...You are never going to hear Bernie speak if I don't hear silence now,... Now that you've covered yourself in your white supremacist liberalism, I will formally welcome Bernie Sanders to Seattle."

Johnson and Willaford demanded -- and eventually won -- a four-and-a-half-minute-long moment of silence in honor of Michael Brown...

Sanders' aides said the senator had no plans of leaving during the protests, but once Johnson did not appear willing to give up the mic after the moment of silence, organizers effectively shut down the event.

In a statement to CNN after the event, Seattle's Black Lives Matter chapter said it protested the event because "the problem with Sanders, and with white Seattle progressives in general, is that they are utterly and totally useless (when not outright harmful) in terms of the fight for Black lives... White progressive Seattle and Bernie Sanders cannot call themselves liberals while they participate in the racist system that claims Black lives."

This is not the first time Sanders have been confronted by Black Lives Matters protesters. At a liberal gathering in Arizona last month, the liberal senator was confronted by similar protests.

Hillary! seems to have avoided this problem, for some reason.

I liked Irrational Man. It's not for everybody, as demonstrated by the low critical and viewer reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Woody doesn't appear but Parker Posey played a woman her age and she was a revelation. Joaquin Phoenix is a philosophy professor and the movie is Russian Literature lite (no peasants or czars but lots of existentialism).

Sir, you have no taste. As for your comment about Trump and Sanders, both agree albeit from opposite poles that this country is not currently having a labor shortage, a shortage of poor people or an insufficient supply of domestic criminals.

Mara Willaford.

She lives in an all white neighborhood called Wedgwood. I had a house just down the street 20 years ago. Her husband is a system engineer at Boeing.

She must feel guilty about living in an all white neighborhood.

Right, pm317? Beginning to think there are ties to the Clintons. They aren't shutting down Hillary events.

Where does our insatiable thirst for knowledge come from?

I would speculate that it is one of the fundamental adaptations that set the hominina on the road to us. Knowledge derives from two things - curiosity and language. Most higher animals are curious to a greater or lesser degree, but none to the degree that even a person of average intelligence is. (Imagine a person who is completely incurious, that would have to be someone so low-functioning that his personhood could be called into question.) Curiosity is not unique to humans. Language is. Many animals communicate, but only humans communicate in such a way that allows one being to experience the curiosity of another.

Hildebeast WAS married to the first black president, if you recall. And with her Ebonic accent, you can tell that she relates well with black people.

I can only assume you were struck blind from the first thousand times Miley showed those flapjacks she calls tits. I'm beginning to suspect you might have a problem.

Friend of my Dads has a large hobby farm. One year he planted 50 acres for a dove plot/hunt. Everything was beautiful until a week before opening day when the deer moved in, and in one night, ate nearly every sunflower blossom. Every deer in the county had to be there to accomplish the feat.

No one, they own casinos, real estate and golf courses, and are independently wealthy, just like everyone else.

I think it is Soros who is funding the Black lives matter protesters. Of course, Soros does not want Sanders for president and would rather have Hillary. When they start to appear at Hillary's events, know that the puppet masters want Biden.
