We drove out into the Driftless Area of Wisconsin....

... where a bit of sun caught a green patch....

We got out and walked the Table Bluff segment of the Ice Age Trail...

... then back into the car, to drive home, with a stop at Culver's....

I felt my arteries start to harden just looking at the picture from Culver's.

Oh, I love Culver's. Can't eat there anymore, but I still smile when I drive by it. Yes, we have a Culver's in my fair Texas city. Actually there is one within walking distance of my house. I always would text a "Culver's food" photo to my best friend who lives in Wisconsin. I'd tell her it made me think of her.

Hope you enjoyed the exercise - I think it's great that you two visit such areas - and your meal.

That's not the usual thing I would eat, but it's fun to do once in a while.

Barred Owl on Picnic Point. Also saw both a male and a female Great Horned Owl not far from there. Great owling day.

That's Culver's all right. My grandkids' fave. The anti-bistro.

Can't be that bad. The sole location in ABQ appears to be inside the Presbyterian Hospital.

Never heard of Culver's or even frozen custard. But it looked so good I Googled everything. Found out frozen custard is ice cream with egg yolks added in. My word....couldn't help but make it better!

Went to Culver's website and their location map says one is coming to Georgia soon. I will hunt that sucker down!

@Althouse, I didn't say I wouldn't order it myself!

I recognize the fish and the onion rings, but what is the third item on the plate?

Table Bluff is one of our favorite close segments of the trail. Good to know others have found it as well.

My favorite thing about Dane County is all the drift.

They work in pairs. One will stand watch while the other flies back and forth along a tree line. The stationary partner will fly and attack what the other drives out.

Fabi, I think those are fried cheese curds.

AH, Culvers. No more. On the Forks over Knives diet. Watch the movie and you won't eat that stuff either.
