"I need to move out of my place before I viciously murder my roommates."

Tweeted a man who, days later, confessed to shooting his roommate to death.

So what? He should try the "mental illness defense" or "I just lost it... there I was, a good liberal and all, and suddenly my roommate looked like Dubya! What else could I do but kill him? Right? Any good liberal would do the same! Heck, you should all be thanking me!"

And watch him skate, and get a cabinet spot in Hillary's administration.

The hammer and sickle on his Twitter name is a nice touch. He felt the Bern!

If he was sending that tweet to portray himself as a victim of sorts, then he failed utterly.

Admissible.

I'm reminded of Richard Brautigan's "Scarlatti Tilt." (I'd quote it, except I don't want to be thought of as making light of a real-life homicide.)

Fortunately there was a gun available so he could act on his impulse.

Fortunately, there was a gun, a knife, a baseball bat, and other implements available so he could act on his impulse.

Unfortunately, there was no one reading Twitter who knew him intimately.

Once again today I agree with ARM -- no one who voluntarily associates with the hammer and sickle symbol should be allowed to possess a firearm -- and I include cap and ball pistols, Civil War muskets, and flintlocks in that prohibition. If they're going to kill someone, make them do with a sword or battle ax.

Fists and feet can work just as well in a pinch.

Let me guess: subtlety was not this guy's strong suit.

And the winner in the category of "If we didn't have double standards, we'd have no standards at all" category, imagine if this guy had the stars & bars on his twitter feed. This story would be A1 in multiple news sites. Hammer & sickle? Snore city, dude!

Go read this guy's twitter feed. Once again, the social misfit who can't seem to get a girl friend.

Okay, it's past time to come out & say it. You wanna shut down this kind of killer? Nip 'em in the bud? It ain't about gun control. It ain't about "more mental health dollars". What we need here are the tender services of the Mercy Fuck Brigade.

A Mercy Fuck Brigade would be a civic association of decent-looking young women whose charitable duty would be to seek out these loners & misfits & fuck their brains out at least once. Perhaps, with a mercy fuck or two, it would buck up their confidence, & the training wheels could come off so the misfit could graduate on to real encounters.

Yeah, everybody out there's always saying "Lend a hand to your fellow man". Sometimes, a hand isn't the part that's needed. Step up to the plate, young ladies! Lives are at stake!

ARM,

If not a gun, he would have engineered a famine to starve them to death.

Begley,

Would it be admissible? Wouldn't one have to prove that he wrote the tweet. Just because it is his account isn't proof, just circumstantial evidence, but such evidence would be very powerful if admitted- so powerful that proving it is even more important.

It was a day between the post and the murder. That is not an impulse.

I think that the fact that he called police to tell them that he shot his roommate removes any doubt that he wrote the tweet.
