Audible Althouse #68.

In the new podcast, I stumble into a marijuana festival, I submerge myself in a comparison of Foleygate to "The Vagina Monologues," I stare too deeply into a postcard photograph of my grandmother, and I end up wondering what song to have played at my funeral.

Stream it right through your computer here. But all the transgressive rebel artists are subscribing on iTunes:

I drink a venti cappuccino before and during my classes which gets me right up to the anger point but doesn't surpass it, though perhaps it would make class more interesting if I did. I'm much more apt to pass into a jittery rage when I'm drinking press coffee at home. Before I know it, I've downed 32 ounces of black Yemen Mocha or Sumatra and I'm ready to beat people up.

Oh, and I forgot to add the music I want played at my funeral in the other post: Henry Purcell's music for the funeral of Queen Mary [iTunes link]. Performed live, of course.

Damn, that iTunes sample doesn't let it get to the good part! You'll have to buy it if you want to hear. But buy all 7 parts for the full effect. It's good that they have the Gardiner recording on there, which is my favorite one.

You wonder why we'd put articles on a fence on the mall, "rather' than a website. The fence snagged your attention, while the website has not. It's also always read by the cops assigned to our events.
