Underpants.

Underpants! Men like novelty underpants.

As for the not opening on Gay Street U.S.A. quote, that address puts him pretty darn close to the gay district in downtown Portland. But, I don't really understand what that has to do with novelty underpants anyhow. If we're going with stereotypes, aren't gay men supposed to be more fashionable?

I bet the Iranians made the British sailors wear these underpants.

Underpants, male and female, are the only form of gift wrapping men notice.

Not surprising. Have you tried recently to get an 8 year-old boy to wear white underwear when there are clean Spiderman underdrawers in the drawer?

Those underwear are SCREAMING "gay street." They look like the things you'd find hanging in stores in the west village next to leather vests and t-shirts that say "Catcher."

Hooowwww does a man wear that and maintain any dignity?

I don't care if their hidden in a guys pants, I'm talking dignity here...

But honestly...who buys guys' underwear? Wives, mothers, girlfriends. We think they're cute. The typical dude just kind of wears what's clean. And actually, the cut of the underwear isn't so funny, so it's not a gay thing but just a playful thing, all Underoo-like. lol Now sheets like that would be a problem. And where are all the boxers?

Yeah, downtown Portland isn't Gay Street at all. *snerk*

Maybe to the NY Times. . . .

Not always.

Those are the most ridiculous underpants I have ever seen and no self-respecting man would own them.

I think it is a weird and sad commentary on our culture that if a man likes little girls we lock him up in jail (and rightfully so) but if a man runs around in little boys underwear were ready to declare it a fashion forward trend and celebrate it.

A line from South Park comes to mind: (from memory)

"A few months ago I saw two guys making out in the park. That was the gayest thing I'd ever seen, until now."

No guy with any fashion sense wears boxers anymore. (Disclaimer: I still wear some boxers and I have been getting grief about it for a few years now).

I think the Diesel pair is the best.

Etrosexuals may be wearing 2(x)ist but no straight man is wearing these things. Boxers and boxer briefs, that's it.

I mean, Justusboyz? SERIOUSLY?

Go to the International Jock site... Just a hint, but that's no site that a straight man shops at, and that's not the angle that woman buy underwear at. Your Calvin (yeah not the straightest in the world) box will have a lot more ab, rather than the intent focus on these.

But sure, keep trying to say that this is a mainstream thing.

Somebody sure snookered the NY Times. To say most of the sites border on homoeroticism would be an understatement. appropriate for underwear, I guess.

The typical dude just kind of wears what's clean(er). There you go. Fixed.

Really? I switched to boxers because chicks dig them. They still do. That was enough for me.

Yes, definitely boxers. Briefs have always looked just kind of too shape-enhancing for a guy. Guys should look blocky.

This colorful undies site, though, is refreshing, just to see a guy wearing a pair that aren't dingy tidy-whiteys and worn gossamer-thin. LOL Men seriously wear those things 'til they disintegrate.
