BoingBoing embeds a shark versus octopus video...

... and the commenters would like to see the scriptwriter and the voiceover actor thrown into the tank for the next meal.

The octopus would steal their camera.

I really enjoyed the commentary.

I'm so so so tired of these idiots who get their feelings hurt about everything.

They are complaining that he didn't have a deep monotone voice... soooo sorry that a smart guy didn't sound like a cartoon scientist or professor, but he clearly was interested and got the viewer invested enough to be surprised by nature.

Really nicely done narration. They can't all be like this, but isn't that the point?

When I see this , it is another example of contrasting ultimate fighting styles in which the wrestler with the quick take down always destroys the other martial artist with ease. The octopus has survive 300,000,000 years because it uses a defense move that President Bush called a pre-emptive strike. The poor shark never got to negotiate a good pre-emptive surrender Like President Obama swears by.

"And I think what we got on our hands is a dead shark."

Octopuses are very smart, right?

I think that's enough to give it a tremendous advantage. The ability to think about what's going on and prevent your own death is pretty handy.

The shark didn't seem to perceive that it was taking a risk by brushing its prey (which I believe is common before they attack).

Well, they are mainly just a big head. Aside from the legs...
