The Artichoke MRI....

... insight into fruits and vegetables here. (Via Metafilter.)

ADDED: I took the artichoke GIF off the page. It seemed to be causing trouble. I'm not going to let a vegetable screw things up around here.

I believe the brain is prettier.

The 'shrooms look like jellyfish, but the watermelon has that, "Hey, man, far out", vibe all the heads would expect of the fungi.

PS Somebody has way too much free access to an MRI.

Wait a minute. I know he is annoying but I don't think you should ban hdhouse.

God Bless Roentgen, Goodspeed and those who built on their discoveries.

Robert;
God Bless Roentgen

These images are not based on Mr. Roentgen's discoveries, they are based on discoveries by Mr. Rabi

Your anti-artichoke bias is disappointing but not surprising5$vega-xenophobia is prevalent in the blogging community. Try to consider the artichoke's point of view. They seldom have a forum that doesn't have an arugula base with a splash of balsamic vinegarette.

Thanks for the info, although I mentioned those who built on the earlier works. Perhaps you would have been happier had I mentioned Radon.

It appears to me both the artichoke and the watermelon have fractal patterns.

There are vegetables in Canada that are on 12 month waiting lists for MRIs.

BTW will this this covered by Obamacare?

No coverage for anyone in a vegetative state if Berwick has anything to say about it.
