Actually harvested there? Or just processed. I guess you do have a bank of south-facing windows (so do I -- they are currently housing geraniums, rosemary, a butterfly bush (Buddleia 'Orange Scepter') that isn't hardy in Wisconsin, Sinningia 'Arkansas Bells' and my Mom's orchid). The latter two may not make the winter. I have a black thumb for some things.

I hope they are soaking up the sun today.

Poblano, jalapeƱo, Thai or cayenne?, and what are those beautiful long yellow ones?

robinintn said...

Or maybe my dimensions are off; what I took for poblano now look more like habanero or scotch bonnet. Gorgeous either way.

If you grew all that, I am seriously impressed.
Bought a little plant from an asian lady outside my bank, stuck it in the ground. With no help from me, it produced these tiny little red peppers.
Don't know what they are called but I was surprised how hot they are. I tiny taste was like a bee sting, kept burning more as time went on.Too much for me.
Learned another important lesson, wash hands real good before touching pecker afterwards.

I would like to invite myself to the Althouse-Meade House for a meal. This is a fantastic collection of peppers. I recently had a pepper farm pizza with just peppers like these. What a delight! We can talk politics - of how GOP is going to screw itself against HRC by not focusing on what I have stated should be its focus.

Apparently we have both danced to that tune.

Gophers and Badgers (two groud game names for sure!) are running at each other slowly but surely, and Minnesota is barely ahead at halftime. This seems to please the Wisconsin fans.

I grow tomatoes and always bring them inside for cooking or eating. Once in awhile I will eat one outside instead. Pretty much everybody I know does the same.

Da boogie-boogie just started and I think there's a ghost in my MacBookPro... but then I realize that there is the ghost of J.B. sitting here across from me, his beard! his LOVELY beard!!!!!

OK... hot PILF... and cohorts... I try to be as the Captain might be, thrust into the 21st century (it rhymes!!!) as he is...

What would you spicy accolades ask of John Brown???

Here's here... right now... waiting to take your questions....

Anonymous said...

John Brown says that he'd be growing weed right now, if he were (he wants to abbreviate this as "he're" but I told him it makes no sense) here and able to participate in modern life right now.

Laslo makes me want to off myself as I am no use to humanity, not with his level wit roaming and approaching and my alas lack thereof.

But Big Head?

Like David Schwimmer said in his role in Band of Brothers, they (he) are good men (a good man), I can work with them (him).

Guildofcannonballs said...

John how much death before 10 years old did you witness, of human beings?

Did you brush your teeth and afterward have a fresh, clean feeling (so fresh and so clean you felt revived and not drifting toward slumber)?

Guildofcannonballs said...

I am not Laslo.

I an NOT Laslo...

A good man can be worked with... A good man can be showeth' the way of Gideon... he can be a soldier in the army to defeat those who despise God and who try to stand in the way of HIS WORKS...

(Emphasis John.... I can't keep up with this... I'm just a lowly commenter cum podcaster....)

AND SO LET THE FOOT FALL! Let it fall where thee' may... And so let the unbelievers triumph "there is nought but the day" and let thee' sweep thee Divine Force 'till they doth wake of such heresy that down those who might subscribe...

...to the Althouse blog...

J.B. is totally going with those "f--- y---"'s that I seem to have (unwittingly) taught him....

Last time I go to North Elba and try to summon the dead, I tell you that...

@Buckley---

My friend tells me to address you as WILLIAM F... I know not why.

I can tell you that Owen, GOD BLESS HIS SOUL!!!, instilled in US his DIVINE OBEDIENCE'S a requisite admiration for CLEANLINESS; and, I can further attest, that I havenot clemt to that requirement in my EARTLY LIFE.

(Note from the Google account holder here: I attack J.B. on "clemt", claiming that it is not a word and Google Chrome affirms that is not a word. He insists that it is fine, that it has always been fine, and so I defer...)

I will treat this thread as a cafe thread if that is OK..

I think The Crack Emcee should see this video.

CONFUSING and CONFOUNDING!!!

I havenot IDEAS to SPARE, not understanding the CONDITION of the WORLD as I have FOUNDED IT....

(John Brown says thus after 30 secs into the linked YouTube...)

Barking madness in sweet cadence doesn't clarify the position of power sought; or even given.

Guildofcannonballs said...

Mr. Brown Sir if funds are available I have solutions you admire further.

1. Horse poop no smell bad no more. Smell good now. GOOD POOP SMELL WITH THIS PRODUCT.

2. CLEAN DRY CLOTHES WITHOUT WATER.

3. Toothbrush and acclimated minty cleansing agents.

4. Velcro.

Guildofcannonballs said...

Do any of you understand the amount of devotion, accounted for in time number one and poop cleaned number two, it takes to make dogs bark in sweet cadence?

I doubt it: I most seriously doubt it.*

@Wm F, BUCKLEY--

1. EXCERTION EXECEGIES....
2. POST ON ALTHOSE SITE...
3. PROFIT????

NO! I dare SAY it does NOT work that way. Please, Herr Professor Doktor-Detroit Althose, ban this particular VARMIT of all things UNHOLY and EVIL... He is an insolent varmit, indeed!

Anonymous said...

I MEANT "EXCRETION EXEGESIS", of course... otherwise the PLAN TO PROFIT makes sense NOT....

Seemingly with no loss, of course an easy shield, anonymous (but of course only a Sheen of anonymity) is why I don't address anyone here as I am.

Why would I?

I am boring in real.

You are how I deal.

Frankly, I consider it an honor to be pawned by an Althousian.

Few of us could even have competed at This is a link to my N which is a word I can't spell so I can't be NARCISSIM or sumpin but to get beat resoundingly here is, as per Crack used to say, something else.

Guildofcannonballs said...

Not quite sure how, but a point was stumbled upon.

It was.

FUCK YOU I SAW IT.

I SAW IT BITCH.

IT WAS STUMBLED and FUCK OFF.

Being, me, of course, and might I say there will never be another, of course, of course, we might not be always me.

Me advances.

Me got time for the moment.

Others with other power ought utilize it.

Why not utilize your power?

Certainly we know Nixon didn't, and he was evil, so how could you not right that wrong?

Cunt.

Althouse, is The Madison Club fab? My mom parked by The Madison Club today and told me it is some private club.

I went on the website and seems kind of fab, although their board of directors are fat.

Have you been Althouse?

Michael said...

Titus

To determine if a club is "fab" do not look at its board of directors, look at the reciprocal clubs in the US and the UK. The Madison Club is sort of fab, but not really.

I like peppers. The peppers are nice. Indeed, you have a chromocaphony of peppers. Somehow I think I could pick one up and it would magically call back to Meade's computer and a prompt would open up on his Google Chrome browser saying "Will you accept this collect call from 155 years ago?"... And Meade will reject the call, 'cuz who in this connected age wants to f--k with dat s--t, and the opportunity will be lost... But the peppers still tatse good!!! (Did you realize that "taste" is an amalgamation of "state"?-- you authoritarian cum Capiscumiphile...!!!) Now WHAT are YOU GOING to do with ALL THOSE peppers???!!!

I thought of Crack when I saw this link at Instapundit. The author says black people see racism as a concept completely different from the way white people see it. In the black view racism is a social climate and does not require any racists to be implementing it. I have the white view that it takes a racist to be present for racism to be present. No wonder I have trouble understanding Crack's explanations.

Hey Buckley, never thanked you for your "Beserker" reference. Endlessly funny. I had a post ready in condemnation of Kevin Smith in the 'Fourth Wall,' thread that I had to delete when I remembered it.

Nice peppers, Meade! I see salsas, chile rellenos, and stir-fry. The photo is an elegant composition, and the senescent plants will make excellent composting.

These are the seeds I planted — in 7 gallon containers: herehereherehere

I brought the plants inside when night time temps dropped below 45F.

This season I plan to grow similar tomato, pepper and basil plants in these, using drip irrigation.
