"If you care about your party and our country, you just do what you are asked.... If you care about yourself, you take your toys and go home."

What Jim Messina, co-chair of the pro-Clinton super PAC Priorities USA Action, said to David Brock, quoted in a NYT piece titled "Emerging Hillary Clinton Team Shows Signs of Disquiet."

With a nod to Godwin's law, it sounds better in the original German ... Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer

Clear contempt for the 50 States.

If Hillary cared about country, she would donate her politically derived income to Treasury to help pay down the debt. That's the patriotic thing to do, right?

Doesn't everyone pretty much agree that Brock is a total opportunist and leech? Best thing to do when humiliated and discredited is to mea culpa, switch sides and do penance. If he slips up again, this time in the name of liberalism, he will publicly re-embrace conservatism.

They are all back stabbers. Never turn your back to a back stabber convention. It's hard to keep your back clear when you are on the inside.

I have a feeling most of the Obama people are assholes.

Well, Obama was supposed to be a "uniter." What that term means to liberals is to get the rubes to do what liberals think is best without too much squawking or debate of any kind. This is a dog bites man story.

The royal "We."

I am so glad this harpy will not be anywhere near the white house because the harpy she works for isn't even going to run.

Hillary, beware of the Obama minions in your midst. I wish she could say to all of them to go to hell.

Speaking of the 50 states - do they even stress learning about them, in K-12 these days?

I remember (1960's) LOTs of class time devoted to the States, their uniqueness, their cool facts and features. Many assignments to pick one and write a report. It was fun.

And I see now that it was a natural way to keep the focus off of Washington D.C., which was never supposed to be an intrusive, leveling colossus.

Drudge has been pointing up Hillary's absence in the public eye recently. I'm entertaining myself by speculating whether it's due to a stroke, more cosmetic surgery, or a fat farm.

Human nature makes hard the embracing of a rival team who beat you last time out. That Hillary hired them speaks well of her. That they aren't gracefully integrating speaks poorly of them and of the culture in which Obama marinated them. How do pro football teams, bringing in players from rival teams, do it?

The interesting question is will someone step up to replace her on the Democrat ticket when her candidacy implodes.

Are all these "super stars' getting to be of an age where they see, perhaps, only one more chance to hit it big? Are they getting a little desperate? Or is this just the usual when you are not getting leadership from the top?

I am still convinced that Hillary is much more vulnerable on her age, personality, and record than any in the party are willing to publicly admit. The R's seem to have too many alternatives, the D's have none. If Bill had his way I am sure they would be campaigning now. Is Hillary unsure? Her constant quest for power says no, but age saps energy and I wonder if hers is flagging.

If you care about your party and our country... Frankly, there's something very disturbing about that phrase. Political manipulator commits Kinsley gaffe, placing Party ahead of Country.

Likewise the fraudulently named Clinton School of Public Service. Public Service may (or not) occur coincident to acts of public employees. To suggest or imply that public employees are in the job for any other primary reason than to satisfy their personal needs is FRAUD.

But, hey - it's the New York Times, so no surprise there.

It's "Yes Sir" and "Heil Hitl.." I mean "Heil Hillary"!

Don't ask questions, just do as you are told and extend that arm when saluting!

Nice use of the passive voice. So who is the person or persons doing the asking. Is it Jim Messina and/or Hillary?

"If you care about your party and our country,..."

"Party" before "Country".
Clinton is Party.

Communist Party before China.
Chairman Mao was Party.

No, please, keep Jim Messina in play and in the public eye. The man looks like a child molester.

I think it's simpler than that--stay out of the public eye, maybe the voters won't tire of you, and you certainly won't make mistakes. When you lead in the polls, why shake it up? No viable Dems will emerge, and the GOP won't be getting new material to use.

She'll jump in later this year, when it comes time to raise a mountain of cash for next year. But I see no reason why she'd get in early.

If you really cared about our country you for sure wouldn't back Hillary Clinton for president.

And IMHO she's out of public view because she's recovering from her latest face lift.
