Overheard at Meadhouse:
What's a gerbil drive?
Dribble... dribble drive.

One of three losses to the pitiful Rutgers team. What a stain.

RUTGERS ! ! !

That's what they need; a five foot five inch gerbil driver. The Seven footers couldn't even see him except maybe the top of his head going by.

They are a fun team to watch.

Congratulations to the Badgers. They are a strong squad.

My favorite non-Illini Big Ten team was probably that Iowa team from around 69-70. Downtown Fred Brown, John Johnson, Stick Vidnovic - averaged over 100 a game and was just great to watch. They won the Big Ten one year in the Rick Mount era, no mean feat.

Badgers are in good shape.

@garage, I didn't say they weren't. But I think Maryland is the better team if you are in a one-loss-and-you-go-home tournament.

I pick the Badgers every year in my pool (I'm in NJ) because that is my Grandmothers maiden name!! haha!! They ARE going to win this year!!!!

I'd be happy to see the Badgers and Turtles in the final game with Wisconsin winning its second National Championship, tying it with San Francisco and only 3 behind Indiana.

Badgers are talented, well coached, battle tested and play almost error free. Congratulations to them on their great season. They may be the only Big Ten team I can't find any reason to despise. As a Kentucky Wildcat fan they are the team I least want to see in the NCAA tourney. You can add to their ability a big chip on the shoulder from last year's final four 1 point loss to UK. I'm sure they are eager for a re-match.

But then, remember the old saying "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get what you want"
