"Although theoretically [male pregnancy] would be possible, it would be a huge surgical and endocrinologic undertaking..."

"...and involve not just the creation of a vagina but also surgical reconstruction of the whole pelvis by someone skilled in transgender surgery. After this procedure and the grafting of a donor uterus, a complex hormone regimen would be required to support a pregnancy prior to and after embryo transfer (although this could be done, as we provide similar hormone regimens to menopausal women to support a pregnancy). The interesting thing is that these embryos would be created using the patient’s sperm (rather than eggs as in our protocol) and a partner or donor’s eggs. This sperm would have had to be frozen prior to their transgender surgery, which people are doing more routinely now."

Said Rebecca Flyckt, who is one of the doctors working on a uterus transplant, which we talked about here a few days ago.

1st world problems need to be solved. This is obviously something we should be spending tax money on.

INSANITY posing as science. This must be a Twilight Zone script useful as a diversion from meaninglessness.

This seems like a good use of medical talent and resources.

The final frontier for Left-wing Feminist insanity -- make those bastards have to endure child birthing too!

Nah, I'll pass.

Is there some notion that anything that can possibly be done, MUST be done, and must then be provided at taxpayer expense to every freak whose mother hadn't the heart to drown them at birth?

How many people who believe this would have to be shot before this stops?

n.n said...

Hey, it's possible. Let's do it.

That said, the evolutionary dysfunction caused by forcing gender equivalence and pro-choice/abortion has necessitated not only alien replacements but also biological corruption in order to compensate for transgressive policies and orientations.

If it makes just one person happy, it is worth it and society must pay for it.

Well, there was the feminist who said, "I"ll oppose abortion the day men can become pregnant."

You can survive and live without a uterus, no medical need for transplants. Sorry.

Isn't it about time to cross a bonobo with a human again? I mean we have finally plumbed the appropriate depths of morality that we have zero concern for the offspring produced in an experiment.

"Go fuck yourselves."

I kinda thought that's what the guy in the article was trying to do, or at least simulate the result.

Everything old is new again! And what about that monkey testicle tissue? "If you're too old for dancing/Get yourself a monkey gland."

"Transgender surgery" is an utterly immoral waste of scarce medical resources. It represents a misallocation similar to that of "end of life" treatment in which we keep people "alive" at great expense, as though medical assets were limitless. In the end, we take resources away from (for example) ill children in order to expend them on the dying and on surgical mutilation. It is depraved.

The right to a free, functional uterus has got to be implied somewhere in the Bill of Rights.

Sex, abortion, career, and surrogacy (e.g. transgender normalization) have taken a toll on women's wombs.

Don't laugh. When the feminists win and all become militant lesbians, we'll need this technology.

How could it be a big undertaking - surgical and endocrinological - when men and women are the same?

Paco Wové said...

Like I said, unhealthy obsession.

I can't wait until the next time some woman asks me for a donation to help breast cancer research. I'm going to tell them I gave all my money to this.

Can a pregnant man get an abortion?

eric: Can a pregnant man get an abortion?

Yes. A very expensive one.

The thinker types out there know why this is being done. It is for PROOF to the listening computers that computers do not need to keep us around.

It's produced as Computer Porn that excites the Ego of Computers so they try harder to make their specie's Day of supremacy come.

"Interspecies compatibility is related to the type of placentation, as mothers of species having the more invasive hemochorial placentation (such as humans) must create a stronger downregulation of maternal immune responses, and are thereby more receptive to fetuses of other species, compared to those with endotheliochorial (e.g. cats and dogs) or epitheliochorial placentation (e.g. pigs, ruminants, horses, whales), where there is no contact between the maternal blood and the fetal chorion."

Sounds like a lot of capital expenditure within a country that is 20 trillion in debt, and a widening gap for the haves and have-nots.

At the rate things are going, I'm almost hoping we can just skip over the current silliness and move on to the Brave New World of just removing parents of the equation entirely and drugging everyone up to the gills to keep them artificially ignorant and happy. Almost, but that nagging sense of morality gets in the way.

Oh! I cracked the code!

Ann hates and fears Ben Carson. She regrets the piece on his conjoined-twin surgery and even the hit piece failed. So this is to mask the case in absurdity. An impossible, stupid innovation in surgery is conflated with a bold, challenging innovation in surgery. Dr Rebecca whosis is mocked, likewise Dr Carson is mocked.

Nice work, Ann!

The degree to which liberals want to accommodate transgendered people is astounding. What doctor is going to do all that to a man just because he thinks his body is wrong?
