"And how can you be a friend, when you take... 10s of millions of dollars, $25 million from one country... when these countries are oppressive to LGBT, when they're oppressive to everybody?"

"How can you be a friend to women, when you take that kind of money from people that enslave women? How can you be a friend?"

I assume that is foreign money to the CGI "Charity", promoted by the State Department and committed to enriching Clinton's, making Clintons look good, and electing Hill.

But not an election donation of course. That would be illegal.

Successful billionaires rarely have dark secrets, but the Free Beacon decided to exclusively investigate The Donald anyway. What we found will shock you: Trump’s ties to the Muslim networks that hold power in the oil rich Arabian lands are deep and lucrative.

There are currently two Trump brand luxury golf courses under construction in the United Arab Emirates, a country with known ties to Islamic terror groups. But that’s not all. The Donald’s iconic Trump Tower in Manhattan hosts a “corporate campus” of the government-owned Qatar Airways. The Qatari government has been identified as a crucial source of funding for terror groups such as ISIS and Hamas and is an enthusiastic purveyor of sharia law.

Trump tenants also include members of the Saudi royal family, another source of terror financing and big time sharia fans. In 1991, Trump sold his 283-foot yacht to a Saudi prince for a discounted price of $18 million. Where did that money go? We may never know. Where it definitely didn’t go is into the pocketbooks of hardworking non-establishment Americans. Luxury aficionados, including members of the out-of-touch GOP elite in Washington, could purchase fabulous Trump Home products in retail chains across the Middle East. (The retail chain has since conveniently “cut ties” with the real estate baron in a desperate attempt to curtail his political steamroller of a campaign.)

The Clinton White House might get a surprise named Trump.

1) the quote from Trump re: Epstein is from 2002 you dumb twat. This is tree years before he was accused of anything, and four years before he was charged, and six years before he was convicted.

2) There has never been even an accusation that Trump was involved with Epstein's illegal activity. Not even a hint.

Can't speak for everyone -- but I'd love to hear your response to the original post. Does it concern you that the Clintons have taken so much money from these sources? Why or why not?

Just saying: "Look Squirrel!" isn't really a response. It's a reaction. And "oppositional material" -- I don't even know what that's supposed to mean.

I'm sure I have lots of fallacious and ignorant ideas that could use examining and testing with counterarguments and evidence.

But "Trump is bad!" isn't really a challenge to the idea that Hillary Clinton is corrupt, is it? And it isn't a line of reasoning that is going to challenge anyone's views on Clinton's corruption, much less "shoot down" those ideas. It's just a quick jab that gets everyone's guard up. You've got 12 posts out of the first 54 on this topic -- and each one raises a new different issue. (Trump does business in muslim countries, Trump is down in the polls, Jeff Epstein, Russian hackers...)

Hillary Clinton ran the State Department with a For Sale sign on the front door. And she made over a billion dollars selling access and influence, and selling out America's interests. That's what I think when I read this post, and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in that. If my ideas are fallacious and ignorant -- address them. Point out how.

If you're just interested in a reaction, give us twenty or thirty more links and one-liners about different "Squirrel!!1!!"s you think you can get people to respond to.

Pookie Number 2 said...

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd love to see an intelligent challenge from folks on the left. So far, though, the majority of leftist commentary here (and this certainly includes yours, I regret to say) is simplistic name-calling and distraction.

But by all means - explain why Hillary's obvious insincerity, demonstrated dishonesty, and indefensible corruption represent a smaller problem than the fact that Trump is a loud-mouthed buffoon. Explain why we should ignore the second amendment and due process, and why that won't be abused, despite vast amounts of recent and historical evidence showing the seductive corruption of power. Explain why you're comfortable with media bias that manifests itself as intentional mendacity. Those arguments would make for an interesting and informed discussion.

Alternatively, you can continue to cut-and-paste irrelevancies to protect yourself from ever rethinking your premises. But that contributes nothing, and warrants no respectful response, which is why you receive none.

Big Mike said...

@Bruce, some Prog trolls -- like ARM -- have an enormous self-regard and one deals with them by making fun of them. Think of ARM like Khan in Star Trek II and "laugh at [his] superior intellect."

I'll give you a thrill. Here ya go:

"How can you be a friend" or do business with countries that are funders to terrorist groups such as ISIS?

Doing business with somebody does not indicate any approval of their behavior, policies, what have you. It is a purely financial decision if you're a competent businessman (sure, some make idiotic SJW choices, but those seldom work out well). You don't have to like or approve of somebody who can make you money. Apple sells IPhones in the most homophobic regions on Earth. Tim Cook's grandstanding notwithstanding in regards to Indiana and NC --- do you think Cook LIKES the regimes in those countries? I'd imagine not. His job is to enrich his company's shareholders, not moralize.

Taking donations and providing perks for them is a different can of worms. There is no business transaction. There is an explicit moral judgment there --- Trump got lambasted for a Klansman saying he supports him (to paraphrase Reagan, "They endorse me, I don't necessarily endorse them" when asked about some donations) --- Hillary is taking a lot of money from brutally homophobic and misogynistic regimes.

Best case scenario, you're taking bribes from loathsome people to enrich yourself.

Worse case scenario, you're taking bribes from loathsome people that you agree with and like to enrich yourself. Neither option is good.

If it was nothing --- why did Hillary have that gap while Sec of State where she was making money like this? Clearly, government employment --- not known as a bastion of ethics as is --- feels that arrangement is unacceptable for employees and leads to corruption.

So why is it OK for a "charity" with bookkeeping that experts label as being sketchy?

I away Miriam's response. Truly.

What was exchanged/promised for such large sums of money? The Hillary shills in the media may not be curious about these transactions but the rest of us are.
